Fanfare To The Common Man
[4:00]
Old Classical Rock Song made famous by ELP.Recorded Live at the Asterdale Club Derby 1989. The line up was Ken. Paul and Gary. Along with a similar instrumental America (The Nice) this was one of the Audiences favourites at that time and allowed the band to show off their instrumental abilities featuring Timpani, and Midi'd electronic drums. Fanfare is sometimes used in the present day set to give a more rocking approach.

Another Day
[4:39]
1977, Single release, written by Ken Cook.Recorded Horizon Studios Coventry, where some of the early Two Tone recordings were made, hence the black and white label on the vinyl recording. This song was far removed from the ska and blue beat sound from that stable of bands. Around 1000 copies were issued and some have turned up in New Zealand, Malaysia, America sort of a mini World Wide distribution. This was a B Side in those days the A side being an instrumental called Saltash (very English, Very Cornish!!)
The Line up for this was, Ken, Paul and Vernon.

I'm A Man(Spencer Davis) Love Me Two Times (Doors)
[5:38]
lyrics
2 Songs recorded Live at the Derby BBB re-union 2002 . held at the old Derby Locarno in front of 1000 plus audience. This was a one off re-union of the original 1968 line-up of Ken, Bill Grantham,Mick 'Basher' Irwin and Paul Hirst. Along with many other 60's bands we were asked to do this for a major charity event. A couple of quick rehearsals after finding the original line-up and five songs were re-ashed, Love me two times, I'm a Man, Fire, Midnight Hour, A little help from my friends (Joe's version!) and that was it, never to be repeated.
